Babington's work embodies the ecstasy of creation; spontaneity and play. Through layering seemingly random imagery on large planes; she explores the fantasy of existence. Colour is especially important to her. “I find colour penetrates pure emotion;” she says; “further reinforcing this idea that looking at a painting can be liberating.”
