Collection: Sue Pam-Grant

(b 1962, South Africa. Lives and works in Cape Town)

Sue Pam-Grant is a transdisciplinary artist whose practice spans the visual arts; performance; theatre and film making. In her work; she examines the precarious point at which human fragility and resilience meet; connect; and clash. Using her many forms of expression; she mines her autobiography; mapping; tracking and unpacking herself in a continuously unfolding narrative. Of her highly sensitized process; Pam-Grant says; “I am conscious of paying attention to what we might prefer to step over; the things we are ready to throw out; and the surprise of ”˜the incidental'.”
