“My practice uses a range of processes and materials to explore colour; structure and optics. I use reduced forms and lines in a repetitive; cathartic way to create an image. This process references cultures of production; including craft making and mass production. The colours and patterns are often informed by textiles; objects and places to explore feelings of nostalgia. The repetitive practice and series-based way of working is a compulsive process that reflects the replaying and embedding of memory”.
