Collection: Peter Lamb

(b 1973, United Kingdom. Lives and works in London)

Lamb turns to paint; photography and print media with equal commitment. His practice treats painting as a transient process that passes from; into and between states. He regularly moves between analogue and digital modes of working; which lead to a further blurring of distinctions. Borrowing and appropriating processes; his artworks are as much manufactured as they are made; crafted as they are reproduced. They are what Lamb refers to as; “literal and abstract; pure and synthetic; both physical and immaterial constructions”.
