Nico Krijno

Nico Krijno explores photography at the blurry intersection of collage; painting; sculpture and performance. His efforts result in unique abstractions and arrangements. He describes the process of photographing these ephemeral structures as “a private; physical performance; where the camera is the audience”. Often working with discarded materials; Krijno interprets and reorganises them in the hope of discovering alternative meanings. Using his own expressive and physical movements; he creates a direct link between the human body and the natural flow of creating.
