Marianne Schroder paints intuitively when creating colorful; abstract geometric patterns on her canvas. Colours in vibrant interaction is at the core of her works. There often is a play of optical illusion; a sense of space; blurring the edge between imagination and reality. My works respond visually to sensations and impressions from my surroundings and reflect a personal story of mine or others. Painting is to me all about exploration and not knowing where it will take me.
