Luis Rocca Brito

(b 1964, Venezuela. Lives and works in Maturin)

Luis' work explores different abstract shapes; filled with wild brush strokes. All series are joined with the same colour palette and the same technique: enamel and oil on paper. I conceive my work as dynamic in practice; since I am interested in working on different topics simultaneously as well as different trends within abstraction; but that at some point it could be close to the borders of figuration; because I give importance to the image as a generator expressive.
