Lottie Stoddart

Stoddart is a painter who works with the collation and collaging of imagery to create self-contained worlds. Also a writer of stories; she is interested in how the edges of the canvas (like the bindings of a book) can acts as borders to an interior logic playing by its own rules. Using found imagery; particularly of food and feasting; she works from her imagination to form assemblages from her source material.
