(b 1991, United Kingdom. Lives and works in 0)
Holdengarde's multi-disciplinary practice considers time through the process of fragmentation and re-narration. She positions photography as a playful manipulation of time; space and place; creating fictional landscapes through the layering of digital and analogue processes. Seeking to present the inevitability and ontological uncertainty of time and being through her work; she resists the nostalgic connotations of the subject by focusing on the precarious nature of the present.
