Poblete works around the notion of transformation. He mainly paints; although his practice incorporates other raw materials into pictorial base-layers such as ground pigments; oxides and carbon; linking themtogetherto create changes andaccidents as part of an alchemical-like quest. Poblete prefers maximalist approach that allows these interventionsto be most evident.
