Working in sculpture; performance; drawing and text.; Anna's work is rooted in human experiences of vulnerability and exposure. The works foreground forms of shelter; growth and regeneration within the non-human world. Using modified grotto techniques she combines materials as aggregates; such as oyster shells; cardboard; cement; oil pastel and paint. Taking inspiration from the harsh but abundant ecologies of coastal landscapes; the works appear populated by marine accretions and watery realms.
