Claire's recent works explore new colours, shapes and textures which have emerged and have evolved into simpler, more minimalist abstract works. She describes her works as a " deeply personal expression of exploration" back to herself. It’s a combination of substance and raw surface, light and darkness, pleasure and pain, blooming and decay.
"My love of the tactile, behavioral elements of nature have played a significant role in influencing my subject matter. I like the idea of
alchemy in paint."
