Natasha Norman’s printmaking enables her to work across different techniques in order to encapsulate her poetic response to both her remembered and imagined experiences.
Norman has always lived by the ocean, developing a love for its moods, energy and ecology that she shares with her father. She celebrates the sea as her prime inspiration in an empathetic and mannered shifting of layers and planes, marks and tones in her work that aim to embody the experience or sensory memory of places, weather conditions and emotions.
