Marianne Schrøder paints intuitively when creating colorful, abstract geometric patterns on her canvas. Colours in vibrant interaction is at the core of her works.
"There often is a play of optical illusion, a sense of space, blurring the edge between imagination and reality. My works respond visually to sensations and impressions from my surroundings and reflect a personal story of mine or others. Painting is to me all about exploration and not knowing where it will take me."
