Artist's statement

(b 1973GB. Lives and works in london)

Lamb turns to paint, photography and print media with equal commitment. His practice treats painting as a transient process that passes from, into and between states. He regularly moves between analogue and digital modes of working, which lead to a further blurring of distinctions. Borrowing and appropriating processes, his artworks are as much manufactured as they are made; crafted as they are reproduced. They are what Lamb refers to as, “literal and abstract, pure and synthetic, both physical and immaterial constructions”.
