Artist's statement
(b 1962GB. Lives and works in Dorset)
Paper, in all its forms, is central to Dyke’s work. She is drawn as much to its humble nature and simplicity, as to its potential and flexibility as a medium. Her hand-crafted work uses materials intrinsic to everyday life. “The making process is measured and methodical and absurd. It is a meditation on being slow, taking time and noticing small things that, at first glance, appear insignificant but which, on closer inspection, reveal the intricacies of a sentient existence.”Solo exhibitions
