Thomas’s work responds to his environment and daily life, which is mostly informed by his skateboarding, vegan lifestyle and painting practices. He takes photos and makes drawings from his immediate surrounds, actions which seep into his paintings, where process supersedes other concerns. "My practice is one of slowing down, of looking, feeling, and of being present. It is about right now. It is about showing up, trusting your gut, and putting one foot in front of the other."
