Artist's statement

Schairer works mainly in painting, video, installation and interactive and immersive performances in public spaces. Her paintings are abstract and playful, using colour as starting point. Her work draws on relationships and emotion, which is also reflected in her different choices of materials, paint, shapes, forms and textures.Solo exhibitions
