Vogel’s abstract paintings are attempts to trace, explore and capture her personal experiences of nature and solitude. Through an energetic and intuitive working process she considers opposing concepts or forces such as simplicity and chaos, outer and inner worlds or visibility and invisibility, taking a colour, line or form as her starting point.
Experimentation with both materials and techniques is a central concern in her practice.
