Alice Wilson

(b 1982United Kingdom. Lives and works in London)

Wilson works with timber, plaster, photography, and paint, regularly improvising with found materials and collage. She uses landscape as a means of addressing society, politics, and the ways in which we learn. Ranging from practical objects to towering abstract constructions, Wilson’s work responds to our ongoing basic need for shelter and belonging, despite the advances of our technological age.
